I have bought two horses from Rex Anderson. I bought "Indy" (pictured below) as an unbroke two year old, and he is now 8. He is my "anyone can ride horse", and has been since he was three. He is big and stocky and an excellent trail horse, and he also does quite well in the shows. He has a very smooth, correct fox trot, and a wonderful running walk.
After buying 7 horses in 7 years, he is a "keeper". I also bought Indy's half sister "Shiloh" (Pictured at left). She was the most beautiful mare I had ever seen, and very, very smooth. I had Shiloh for two years. I hate to admit it, but decided as I got older, I wanted a shorter, slightly more mellow horse. I had no trouble selling her, and had several offers within a week, for double what I paid for her.
Rex has many horses, and will try his best to find just the right one that fits what your looking for. Both my Rex horses came to me with very little training, and it was just a matter of putting miles on them. I'm very happy with the two I bought.
