Rolo is a coming 5 year old registered Foxtrotter Gelding. He is out of Bucky Lady RDA (first mare on the Broodmares Page.) and Quick Silver. He is a beautiful rich color with dark mane and tail. We put his first ride on him on Feb 6, 2009. WOW! This was the best first ride we’ve every had on a horse. He was simply amazing. He is naturally sensitive and responsive and soft in the bridle (we rode him in a rope halter). He could side pass and give his front and hind quarters easily, and his brakes were soft and natural. He was aware of his surroundings and alert, yet confident and didn’t spook once. He lead the way, crossed water, over logs, etc… What a great horse! He is on the smaller side. He has now been ridden a number of times on the trails, and is proving to be that confidence building type of horse, VERY reliable!

Bay Babe Prospector A.
“Bones” is a 15 year old registered Foxtrotter mare. Just over 15.2 hands. She isn’t trained, but has been ridden a couple times in her life. She gave Rex good bragging rights, because when she was 5, he just put a saddle on her and rode her into town (no training at all). Someone told him that was impossible. A few weeks later, he saddled her up and took her for a mountain ride with that same person. She did great…. the fellow said Rex was just “stealing rides” from her. Good mare. Good example of the kind of horses we produce.
